A cusp is the boundary between two zodiac signs, and being 'born on a cusp' just means your birthday falls within a few days of the sun switching signs. It sounds like a special category — it isn't.

How it works

The sun is in one sign at a time, measured to the exact degree. If you were born when the sun was at 29° Scorpio, you're a Scorpio — full stop, not a Scorpio-Sagittarius hybrid. The only way to know which side you actually landed on is to check your chart with your exact birth date, time, and location.

Why it matters

The blend you feel is real, but it's probably not coming from a cusp. Planets move at different speeds, so if your sun is late Scorpio, your Mercury or Venus might already be in Sagittarius — and that combo explains the mix far better than a mythical in-between zone does. Understanding your actual placements gives you a sharper read than 'I'm on the cusp' ever will.

Bottom line

Stop splitting the difference and run your chart — your exact degree will settle it, and what you find will be more interesting than a vague blend anyway.
